Year 3 House Visits
Throughout this term, Year 3 have all had the opportunity to visit their school houses. Visits have taken place to:
The children really engaged well with the visits. They learnt about the history of their houses and undertook a variety of activities ranging from interviewing a National Trust guide to woodland walks and observational tasks.
We received so much positive feedback about the behaviour and enthusiasm that the children consistently demonstrated on each trip. We know that the children enjoyed their visits too and feel that they gained a great deal from their National Trust house experiences.
Thank you to all parents who assisted on the trips.
Baddesley Clinton Visit - 20th June 2017
Year 3 children visited their National Trust property, Baddesley Clinton, on Tuesday 20th June.
We had a brilliant time finding out about the house and what life might have been like for children our age when the house was built. We did a quiz in the fantastic vegetable garden, wrote postcards home and played old games on the lawn. The children coped very well with the heat and were very sensible with some rather persistent ducks on the lawn during our lunch! Their behaviour was complimented whilst we were there. Well done Y3 Baddesley!
